This training will focus on the history of systemic oppression in the United States, how our identities shape us, parent experiences and the role of stereotypes. It will explore various structures and forms of oppression and their impact on personal and community experiences.
This training is open to the public. It will be facilitated by a Rise staff member and Guest Presenters: Imani Worthy (Center for Family Representation) and Family Advocate, Shamara Kelly.
