During this two-day workshop, we will explore abolition as a vision, practice and a call to action as we reimagine communities that promote family safety, well-being and justice.
On day one, we will share stories, learn about histories of oppression and resistance and share out collective experiences with the family policing system.
Day two will focus on healing-justice and abolitionist practices that we can all engage in to get us closer to the world we want to create.
We highly encourage participants to attend both sessions (5/24 and 6/2).
This training will be hosted and led by Rise. All are welcome.
Sign up for each day of the two-part retreat via Eventbrite. Please note: There is a separate sign-up form for each day of the retreat.
